Commentary

Spoons can prove effective when minnows and spinners fail to catch fish.
What is the “fishing power” of a spoon? It’s the “all-directional reflection” of the spoon’s curved surface as it sinks gently. It also has “tremendous casting distance,” “advanced depth,” and a “hybrid swim” that includes wobbling, rolling, spinning, and darting created by the water current. I believe this is what makes a spoon “fishing power.

” A spoon’s many “elements” are linked to its “function” through its “form.”
*Minimum swimming speed, amplitude, and pull: Depends on the spoon’s thickness, width, and front and tail bend.
The thinner, wider, and more bent the spoon is, the faster the initial movement, the larger the movement, and the stronger the pull.
In other words, swimming is a state of being out of balance. That balance is the key to a spoon.
*Fall: Slim types are fast, wide types are slow. The thicker the spoon, the faster it is.
*Appeal: Factors that affect light reflection, its curvature, amplitude pitch and width, and vibrations caused by bends and other factors.
*Casting distance: Slimmer spoons have less air resistance and are less likely to curve .

Slimmer spoons fall faster, but they have difficulty gripping the water. Therefore, tail bends are deepened to create a swimming motion.
However, deeper bends increase pulling resistance and make them more likely to rotate. Wider spoons also start swimming at a slow speed, but their slow sinking makes them prone to drifting.

The DS Line’s S-shaped bend, which curves from a raised front to a steeply elevated tail, allows for excellent swimming at a slow speed and creates a tenacious swimming motion. This is despite the fast fall provided by its slim body.

Anglers have their own fishing styles, and even when fishing the same current with spoons, each will have their own unique style.
The D-S Line offers five items to choose from depending on style, field type, and situation.
*30mm, 3.0g, 1.4mm thickness: Small size for small mountain streams in the headwaters and for wary fish.
*36mm, 4.0g, 1.4mm thickness: A frequently used size that can be used in shallow mountain streams.
*40mm, 5.0g, 1.4mm thickness: A mountain stream staple with an excellent balance of swim and fall.
*45mm, 5.0g, 1.2mm thickness: A slow, fluttering lure that makes a strong appeal in calm currents.
*45mm, 6.5g, 1.5mm thickness: For deep waters and when you want to sink the lure firmly and attack even in strong currents. Emphasis on long-distance casting and appeal.

Features

* The slim body allows for long casting distances and quick reach.

* The S-bend form, which curves from the raised front to the tail with a difference in height, allows for a wobbling roll and darting swim that starts at a slow speed, and excellent range-keeping ability.

* The sight and bite markers on the back enhance visibility and predation.

* Five items to choose from depending on your fishing style, field type, and situation .
