Regular Bull Dawgs

Created in 1993, the Bull Dawg is the original soft plastic jerk bait. One of the most versatile lures on the market, the Bull Dawg can be straight cranked, jerked, twitched, or even trolled. A favorite technique is to rip the bait with a rod sweep, then pause and repeat. The strike often comes on the pause. Do this technique fast in warm water and slow in cold water. Set the hook hard when you feel anything different.

The power of the Bull Dawg is the way it displaces water and the way it “feels” to the fish. The fish usually cannot get conditioned to Bull Dawgs. As my pro staff puts it, “there is no wrong way to fish a Bull Dawg, just throw it out, work it in, and hold on!”

UV Reflex Bull Dawgs

UV Reflex is an additive put in the lure that allows the bait to reflect more UV light. By reflecting more UV light, the stands out better to the fish. All fluorescent colors reflect UV light better than non fluorescent colors. By adding the UV Reflex, it makes every color become a fluorescent color, thus making the bait stand out more getting noticed and eaten!
