TecTackle Oyster Knife

Whether you are digging oysters off the rocks for a feed or cleaning mussels or pippies for bait, the Jarvis Walker Oyster Knife is a handy tool to have in your kit. The wooden handle and short, tough blade are designed to be worked hard and stand up to the wear and tear that goes with using a knife on rocks or shellfish.

Tip: When cleaning the meat out of shellfish start your cut on the side of the shell and rotate the shell away from you while working the knife in a short, sideways movement. To lift the meat out, hold your knife and with the same hand place your thumb on top of the meat to hold it against the blade.
