The Standard Bobbin from Griffin is the most popular bobbin for fly tying and for good reasons. The flared infeed end makes for easier threading and its size is perfect for all around tying. For long lasting use the stainless steel build (limbs and tube) are great quality. Also the nylon spool bearing beads offer smooth gliding spools.

This bobbin does not have a ceramic tip. The tube’s tip is highly polished to ensure no burrs or rough edges. It is Great for budget tiers and also good enough for experts.

Both bobbins are 4 inches long with a tube length of 1 1/2 inches.
