Ocean Assassins are built using SLS3 construction.SLS3 construction uses inner and outer spiral wraplayers of carbon fibre to sandwich middle layers ofalternating longitudinal carbon and glass. The spiralwraps maintain a round cross section in the blank whenunder load which helps the blank handle higherloads.
The middle layers of unidirectional carbonand glass create the backbone of the rod by utilizingthe strength of glass combined with the lightweight ofthe carbon fibre to deliver a strong, balanced andthin rod blank.
Componentry is top notch with Fuji KAlconite guides, Fuji DPS reel seats featuring amachined and aluminium lock nut for improved reelsecurity and contoured EVA grips for extreme comfort.
